The 175 year old site has picked up ‘Medium Station of the Year’ at the National Rail Awards.

The category saw stations judged on their access, information, ticketing, customer service, disabled access and presentation.

Staines was previously managed by Teresa Pearson.

Theresa was awarded the British Empire Medal for her services to the State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II last September.
